OVERSEAS SHIPPING

It is always interesting to get an inquiry for The Pterodactyl Backplate/Harness System from a diver from Europe or from some other overseas country. Undoubtably, many of these divers learn of this product from my advertising in Wreck Diver Magazine. Others, simply from searching the internet and happening-upon my web site. In any event, the majority of these interested divers are dismayed to find-out how expensive it is to ship this product overseas. Recently, I have learned of a service called ACCESS USA. This could very-well solve this problem. Check-out their site at http://www.myus.com/rates/error.shtml. Basically, a diver in Europe signs-onto Access USA by paying a small annual membership fee and is given a shipping address here in the USA. Then, he purchases something over the internet from a company in this coutry...a Pterodactyl, perhaps?...and the merchandise is shipped to the Access USA address. Since this is domestic shipping, it is not expensive. Then, Access USA ships the merchandise overseas to the diver. AND, their shipping rates are VERY INEXPENSIVE...probably about half what you would pay otherwise. Access USA also provides other related services. Check it out!

BENEATH THE SEA DIVE SHOW

Critical Aspect Inc. will be returning to the Beneath The Sea dive show in Secaucus, New Jersey this March 28th through 30th. The Pterodactyl Backplate/Harness System will be on display and for sale at my booth...#408. I will have a special discounted show price for this product during the show and, as usual, I will be conducting a raffle to win one. Much interest has always been shown for this product with many raffle tickets purchased during every show I attend. And, it appears that I may be able to reduce the price for the Pterodactyl due to a special deal with a new machine shop...I will keep you informed with developments in this area. I know many divers have expressed an interest in this innovative product but were disappointed with the price. The manufacturing of the Pterodactyl may go to a machine shop in Italy. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this deal goes forward as anticipated so I can offer my product at a price people can afford and with better workmanship. Anyways, I'm working hard to bring you an innovative product at a reasonable price and also working to sign-up dive shops as authorized dealers so divers can see the product first before buying. Much work remains to be done. So, please come to booth #408 at Beneath The Sea....it will be great to see you!

DEALER INQUIRIES WELCOME!

After much hard work and perseverance, I am happy to announce that The Pterodactyl Backplate/Harness System is now showing-up in a select number of dive shops along the East coast of the USA. This accomplishment is critical to the success of CAI. Previously, this product has been available only over the internet. Although the internet is an awesome thing...it has it's limitations. Most noteably, many divers want to see the product FIRST before buying. Can't say I blame them! This limited number of dive shops will expand over time to include shops all across the country. And this will be to the benefit of countless divers by giving them the opportunity to see this product "up close and personal". If you wish to become an AUTHORIZED DEALER...contact me, Gary A. Cresswell President, at info@criticalaspect.com. That's all for now.

REPLACEMENT HARNESS AVAILABLE

Hello everyone! Just a quick update to let you know that Critical Aspect Inc. now has available replacement harnesses and also the new crotch strap. The Pterodactyl has been in use by divers long-enough now that some of the harnesses may be wearing and in need of replacement. The replacement harness is $32.00 (color-black, length-12 feet). This new harness has four grommets on each side for "D" rings "C" (instead of the former three) and will accommodate a wider range of diver height. The two-inch wide crotch strap is $44.00 and, due to it's supple material, will easily fit in the one-inch wide crotch strap slot that the earlier Pterodactyls were made with (see picture). The new Pterodactyls come with a two-inch wide slot, however. This crotch strap also has the two-inch diameter stainless steel ring for attachment of a DPV or other gear. That's all for now!
