New Plates Soon To Arrive

In a week or less, the first batch of Pterodactyl Backplate/Harness Systems will arrive from the machine shop in Italy. These new Pterodactyls will be exactly like the previous ones made in the USA, except for three points...1.) They will have a beautiful sandblasted finish, 2.) They will not have any sharp or rough edges (all the edges will be nicely rounded-over), and 3.) The price will be lower than I have been able to offer the product for previously. The problem with manufacturing this product in the USA has been...1.) The price was always too high, and 2.) The machine shops here were never doing a good job of rounding-over the edges. Now, thankfully, I can have a wholesale price to sell directly to dive shops. And that is my "quest" this year...to start signing-up dive shops as Authorized Dealers. This is an important move for Critical Aspect Inc. My customers have made it clear that they want to see the product FIRST before buying. I fully understand this. The internet is a great thing but it does fall short in this respect. One dive shop that is now an Authorized Dealer, Indian Valley Scuba of Harleysville, PA, as been a great supporter of this innovative product and is anxiously-awaiting their new inventory next week. It was great meeting the owner, David Valaika, and his staff at Beneath The Sea dive show last month. I look forward to hearing from several other dive shops that visited my booth during the show. Any dive shops that are interested in carrying the Pterodactyl...just say "the word". That's all for now!

Beneath The Sea 2008

Beneath The Sea dive show in Secaucus, New Jersey this year was terrific! Sales of the Pterodactyl Backplate/Harness System were up and there was a great deal of interest displayed for this innovative product this year. Quite frequently during the show, my booth was crowded with visitors and many raffle tickets were sold. I had such a good time meeting and talking with so many visitors...many of whom returned to my booth several times bringing their friends with them. The winning raffle ticklet is shown here...#348521...owned by Bob Barbarite. Bob was not present during the drawing but has been contacted for his mailing address for shipment. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners of several dive shops who have expressed an interest in carrying my product. Can't wait for next year!
