Chatterton and The Speedplate

It was my great pleasure to talk with John Chatterton at my booth during this past DEMA dive show in Las Vegas. John has always been such a great supporter of my designs. I showed John one of the prototypes of The Speedplate at the show and sent him a pair to dive. Just now I received a terrific e-mail from him..."Gary, I now have some dives on my Speedplate. You already know that I love my Pterodactyl, and now the Speedplates basically turn my lightweight aluminum travel backplate into a Pterodactyl. I really don't notice any difference! Bottom line is I love them. Nothing gives me a better attachment for stages or hardware, while giving me the simple and comfortable harness setup I prefer. Nice job. Cheers, JC." Awesome! And for all you who have been considering purchasing The Pterodactyl backplate...The Speedplate will allow you to convert your existing backplate into a Pterodactyl with the advantages of the harness rollers but without the greater cost.
