New Single Tank Adapter

Hello everyone. Well, the first new single tank adapters (STA) have rolled-off the press. This simple design allows a diver to attach a single tank to the Pterodactyl backplate...expanding the capability of the Pterodactyl still further. I apologize for not being able to include a picture of the STA at this time...some difficulty with the blog. Anyways, this design is similar to other STA's out there but with one big difference: the Pterodactyl STA has a pair of stabilizer bars that match the angle of this backplate creating a really solid engagement of STA-to-backplate. In other words...when you attach this STA to the Pterodactyl, there is NO WOBBLE. Of course, after dogging-down the wingnuts on the front of the backplate, the single tank isn't going to fall-off...but who can stand the wobble?! Well, I have solved that problem. One happy diver (Greg Voyles from Texas) writes, "...as with everything else you do it is exceptional in every way and high quality as usual. It fits the Pterodactyl backplate like a glove and it keeps a single tank solid with the backplate. You're right on the money with this one." John Chatterton writes, "Very nice!!! Makes me want to go dive a single!!!" Sorry about the lack of a picture but if you e-mail me I will be happy to send you several pictures. This STA only fits the Pterodactyl backplate but it does a better job of fitting the Pterodactyl backplate than any other STA does of fitting any other backplate.
