The Pterodactyl Evolves

In the continuing interest of improving The Pterodactyl Backplate/Harness System, I have decided to move-ahead with designing a variation of this already innovative product to fit some of the most commonly-used rebreathers. This evolution of the Pterodactyl will take some time to bring to market. However, it will be terrific when it is finally acomplished. Of course, the patented harness rollers and "D" rings (as with the current model) will be included with this variation. I am imagining a Pterodactyl OC (the current model for open circuit) and a Pterodactyl R (for rebreathers). Also, I am now including a secondary (plastic) belt buckle attached to the right ("free") end of the waist belt to fasilitate "gearing-up" by preventing that end of the harness from pulling-out of the harness roller. Pictured above is the primary buckle in stainless and the newly-added black plastic buckle (as seen from the diver's viewpoint). This secondary buckle will now be standard with this product at no additonal cost.
